ADAM CARROLL

YOGA TEACHER

They say you always remember your first, but honestly, I can’t remember my first yoga class. It was a few years ago from now, and I’m sure it was interesting. One thing I’ve learnt from my studies in India and my asana practice is that it is yoga is a gateway into the present. Maybe that’s why I can’t remember my first, because I was too busy being exactly where I was. Truth is, I don’t know. But what I do know, is that yoga isn’t just a 60 minute on the mat moment. To practice yoga, is to live yoga. Doing yoga is non existent - living yoga, is the truth. One cannot ‘do’ yoga as one is not separate from yoga.

Yoga is a means to accept the invitation to the party of life. To welcome one’s self into the depth of aliveness and to explore one’s true essence. I’m trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Hatha and hope to hold space on the mat for you to experience this, and to help you understand that this experience is not subjective to the mat. Have a moment with me, have a moment with you - and then take that moment off the mat.

Peace is within.
